This year it is 70 years since Norway was liberated from Nazi-occupation. On November 26, 1942, Jews from Norway were deported to Stettin on the vessel Donau and then sent on to the death camp Auschwitz. All in all 772 Jews were deported from Norway.
The Jewish Museum of Oslo commemorate this day of Norwegian history every year.
Berit Reisel and historian Bjarte Bruland had a crucial role for the outcome of the Norwegian restitution of jewish property after the war.
