Welcome to Oslo Jewish Museum

Oslo Jewish Museum is located in a former synagogue in Calmeyer Street, in the middle of the Hausmann quarter where many Jews settled when they arrived in Norway at around 1900. The building is once more filled with Jewish culture and we welcome you to explore!

The museum has great exhibitions about Jewish culture and history and exciting and varied events throughout the year. We also have a library with books related to topics of Jewish interest and a museum shop with products for all occasions.

We offer tours and lectures, please book ahead of time. This applies to both school classes and other groups.

Welcome!
